a july wind blows where boats sit at their moorings moving them delicately in the sway of the ocean a july wind off the atlantic hints of fish and the salt on weathered bluffs it is time to watch the movement of the gulls and the bees as they pass (blown by the winds from the water between my perch and bois bubert island)

Alexander M. Koch lives in Unity, Maine and is working on a Bachelor of Science in Parks & Forest Resources from Unity College. He has lived on both the East and West Coasts and traveled extensively. He writes poetry, restores antique tools, and is an award-winning book collector.
