Steuben, Maine
a july wind blows
where boats sit at their moorings
moving them delicately in the sway
of the ocean
a july wind off the atlantic
hints of fish
and the salt on weathered bluffs
it is time to watch the movement
of the gulls
and the bees
as they pass

by the winds from the water
between my perch
and bois bubert island)
